The empty board represents how women are perceived by the rabbinical court as ignorant. During hearings, I often wanted to comment but faced indifference from the judges. Sometimes, I stood up, as one must do to speak in court. Once, a judge asked why I was standing, and I replied that I wanted to speak. He responded, "Sit down, sit down!" This reflects the perception of women as unworthy of any say, and the lack of encouragement for women to receive proper education. This led me to create this installation.
