The entire divorce process drags you down; the sorrow and pain sometimes feel like drowning - a choking lack of air that prevents you from staying afloat. This is especially true in the middle and upper classes, where money is a significant factor in the endless conflict, so I chose an image of drowning in a pool rather than the sea. The lifebuoy I included in the installation symbolizes a plea from me and every woman experiencing this feeling - to show that I am acting not just for myself but for her as well. I will not stop until things change.
