On July 5th, I arrived too late to set up my installation at the Kaplan protest; the area was already packed with people. Instead, I walked around in a special outfit, carrying a flag with my hands tied and my mouth zipped shut. When everyone moved to the Ayalon fwy, I joined them. The chaos was overwhelming, and I was very afraid. After the initial shock, I decided to turn the scene into a photo shoot to raise public awareness of my struggle. For the first time since the live installation in Jerusalem, my protest felt connected to the broader national issues, not just my personal story.
