The doll that resembled me was lying on a simple bed covered with a white sheet. Placed around it on columns were the pictures of the women who were murdered by their partners or husbands from the beginning of 2023 until that moment. All the photos are uncaptioned with no mention of the victims' names. This serves two purposes: 1) Their anonymity in the eyes of the observer may induce and arouse curiosity about their identity. 2) The anonymity emphasizes the disregard and transparency of these women in the eyes of society. This installation shocked the passersby and it opened the subject for discourse. I managed to convey the message that we can all be in this position and we must not ignore these victims. Some of the passersby stopped and searched for their names and biographies online.
